I had not eaten here as a local said he did not think it was the best food, but it certainly lived up to more than my expectations.
We tried to find a restuarant to eat at on a Friday night, close to 9pm. Many are closed so our only option became a pub and we thought we would try this one for a change. The wine selection was fairly good but our appy was not. We had some halibat fish tacos that were dry and a strange taste to the salsa, however the mango coleslaw was very good.
However, the halibut dish that my friend ordered was not dry and turned out to be great. I ordered a salad which was also good, but my only complaint would be to make it a bit smaller and charge a bit less. There was a lot of salad that went to waste. I was very tempted to order the meatloaf but decided to save that for another time. The flatbreads served have always looked enjoyable too but I have yet to test them.
Since there were lots of TV's, we did get to watch the Olympics as we dined.
