Went to Bamboo Beach Fusion Grille for lunch on a Sunday. Not many asian style food places open in Vernon on a Sunday, so was happy to go here after hearing great reviews.

My younger sister had the special, which was a potato, halibut, bacon au gratin. Absolutely delicious flavour. Rich, creamy and very tasty! I had the beef and shrimp dumplings. I enjoyed them, but her dish definetly was better. Wasn't super impressed with the dumplings (thought I would try something I don't normally LOVE) but the housemade salad dressing and presentation was great. Taste overall was great!

Saw many amazing looking dishes go by (teriyaki rice bowl)...

Service was very good and attentive. The chef/ cook even came out to say hello and ask how things were. Nice touch.

Will be back for sure :)

Bamboo is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. Lunch can be done for $12 and one can easily get in and out in 30 minutes, despite how busy it gets! The teriyaki chicken salad is a massive bowl of greens and avocado, dressed to perfection and topped with tenderly poached teriyaki chicken. Dinner is a much slower atmosphere with a great menu as well. The agedashi tofu soup is the ultimate comfort food. Two large cubes of agedashi topped with freshly grated ginger in a smoky clear broth. I usually have this with the avocado spring rolls or the spicy tuna lettuce wraps and am completely satisfied. The beverage menu boasts many great wines and beer from the region. Service is laid back yet attentive and quick. Chef often comes into the dining room to check on her guests. A truly exquisite place!

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic meal at this restaurant last night. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful, and the presentation was excellent. We started with the avacado/mango rolls which were served with curry and basil sauce and wasabi. I had the 'fish and chips' special which was red snapper in a very light (tempura) batter with homemade fries and a salad. My husband had the New York peppercorn steak in a balsamic reduction which came with a large variety of vegetables. For dessert we enjoyed the coffee-flavored cream brulee which was excellent. Even the fresh-pressed decaf coffee was very good. Despite being served by several servers, the service was very good. This is definitely our favorite restaurant in Vernon. The quality, preparation, and presentation of the food is top notch.

Props to the businesses on this street for being able to continue business with the road all ripped up! My friend from Armstrong brought me to this lovely little place. The food was excellent. I think there's something for everyone on the menu without being excessive with the number of items. The food was well-prepared and the quantity was ample. Good job!

Food was good , lack i little bit of salt and sauces (my chef opinion) but nothing dramatic
Food is really affordable, my 7 oz tenderloin was 25 $ but really most restaurant would sell it for over 30$ ! so its a really good deal . The bad point was the service. Nothing rude but just not personal at all. Will go again for sure but they need to focus on front staff training to get a five star.
Thanks to the chef for a great meal
