My husband and I came here for a little weekend getway. What a beautiful spot. Seculded and hidden in the mountains of the Okanagan Valley, this resort offers outstanding views, high end spa setting rooms, with beautiful huge floor to roof windows, soaker tub, spa robes and slippers and a cozy bed. The spa area was fantastic with a huge indoor outdoor pool, and what seemed like an endless amount of steamrooms and saunas to select from. Breakfast was amazing and absolutley delish! A wonderful place to stay for a relaxing night away!

This is not my usual type or hotel/resort to stay at but we came for my wife, to try out the Cold Sauna. She loved everything about our stay here.

This was the most luxurious resort we have ever stayed and they staff made us feel truly welcome and at home. My wife loves to spend time in her hotel room, when we go away. Here, we could lounge anywhere in our robes and we spent copious amounts of time hanging out in our gorgeous room and all over the property. We didn't have to go anywhere or even outside. To reiterate, she loved it.

Food was amazing. The staff were fantastic. The spa was spectacular. The entire property is absolutely unbelievable.

We will definitely be going back.

Thank you for your review. I am delighted that you had a great visit and that your wife loved the resort. The Cold Sauna is our signature treatment and can be so beneficial to guests, the three minutes spent in the -110C chamber can be life changing to some guests! I hope that your wife experienced all of the benefits of the Cold Sauna and comes back again soon as it is most beneficial if you do 10 consecutive treatments (preferably 2 a day!). Please let me know if you have any questions about the Cold Sauna, I would be happy to answer any you may have!

We look forward to your next visit.

Our second time here and we were not disappointed. This is a fabulous resort and spa. The many different sauna's were a treat to enjoy. My wife and I highly recommend going if you want to simply relax and have a romantic getaway. Great food, spa, sauna's, pool, walking trails and oh yeah guys if you golf go during the summer and enjoy Predator Ridge Golf Course right outside .

Thank you for visiting us for a second time, I am glad you enjoyed your visit and were able to enjoy all of the amenities that we offer to all of our guests. Predator Ridge golf opens April 10th and both of their courses are fantastic, after a long day of golfing the steams and sauna are always very appealing.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.

No detail has been left unattended at this hotel......it truly is a world class property. On arrival at our room, we were both "startled" with the view, the cleanliness of the room, the simplicity of the decor...the staff in the spa, were not only friendly giving us a tour of the spa areas...answering questions, but they were very professional in their attire and attitude. We had dinner in the Peaks restaurant that night, and was very impressed with the service, and the food. Our server made recommendations on food and wine...all very good, and Probably the best beef tenderloin I have had in years. Breakfast buffet this morning was very fresh, the hot items were changed on a regular basis..tables kept clean. My husband who is a coffee snob, raved about it, and thus had 3 cups...Read about this property before you go-you are there to relax not disco.
Our only comment on check out was "When are we coming back?" A Valet person brought out car up, accompanied by 2 bottles of water for our trip home. Again, a little detail, with a huge impact...Thank you Sparkling Hill...you are doing a world class job!!!

Room Tip: No Tips, whether you face the golf course or the lake....Oh, go to the Serenity Room.....we had sun...

Dear Judy,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am delighted that you enjoyed your visit with us and will certainly pass on the compliments to our spa staff as well as our Executive Chef, they will be pleased. While the resort and the surroundings are very beautiful, I believe it is our great staff that really makes a visit special.

We look forward to your next visit as a return guest.

it's not a bad place if you go to bed at 10:00. It's 11:30 and I called down to room service for a bite of something and there was no answer. After a few minutes I called down to the front desk and I was told that there is nothing open. NOTHING. I'm sorry but if I want to grab a bite of something at the indecent hour of 11:30 I should be able to. I will not be back here again. I'm on vacation and I can't get room service?!? GIVE ME A BREAK!!!
It also took 3 calls to get someone to answer the phone at the front desk. What a sideshow.

Room Tip: ask for a room over the lake, it's not much more money than a mountain view. Just bring somethin...

We celebrated our anniversary recently by taking advantage of a one night package offered to "locals." This included a "standard" room (which was anything but standard - lovely amenities and view), a 2 course dinner, buffet breakfast, valet parking, and use of the various pools. We were checked in quickly and easily before 3:00, taken personally to our room by front desk staff and showed how to access the spa facilities (again, lovely). The food and service at dinner was first rate. We especially enjoyed the resort's tranquil ambience. The buffet breakfast offered a range of healthy choices, generally very good, although the hot foods could have been hotter. We learned too late from our server that we could have had eggs freshly cooked to order. When we checked out, valet staff even put bottles of water in the car! All in all, it was a wonderful experience, one we hope to repeat, and an amazing bargain for us "locals."

The review that didin't give a favourable cimment is somewhat correct. The food is priced to reflect high quality however the portions are quite small. We had strip loin steak which was very good but there was little to no vegetables. Overall though the food was good and the breakfast was outstanding. Any negative complaints about breakfast would be unfair it was great.

The check in time of 4 pm agreed is definately too late particularily if you book a spa treatment and the limited hours of the sauna 9-11am then 4-11pm leave a big gap for those wanting to spend the day at the resort. Suggestion open sauna longer between 11am and 4pm.

The room and the total experience we had was fantastic and we had the couples massage. We would definately return and recommend the resort to others but honestly you need to open the hours for the saunas as you do with the pools.

A few operational changes would allow locals to use the resort for short overnight stays on a regular basis.

thanks for the amazing stay
