Delicious fish and chips, very fresh and fast. We were there on a rainy cold day but there was no line despite the "patio" was full- many still braving the cold for good food! If it was a hot busy day it would have been difficult to get a seat and I would assume many stand and eat so that is a good thing to note.

Had the halibut and fish "tacones"- both delicious however I preferred the halibut (fish and chips). Great food, not cheap but worth the splurge. I really like the location, lots to look and a good place to people watch. We will go back again for sure on our next visit!

Every time that we are in Victoria, one of the first places we go to is Red Fish Blue Fish. We have sampled many items. It is so fresh, you can still taste the ocean water on the grilled oysters. They are plump and juicy. The Halibut is amazing. It satifies the soul of this flatlander every time. There are lines, but they move at a good pace, and what is better than sitting by the water eating fresh fish.

Be prepared to wait to place your order. The line is long and not the quickest moving. But once you get your food, you'll see why! These were the best fish and chips I've had in ages. I'm from the NW so it isn't a claim I make easily! You onely need one piece of fish (halibut) as it is huge. The batter is light and it is so fresh! The chowder was so-so...a little sweet for my taste. Probably because they make it with coconut milk. You sit outside there, they have seats all along the railing. By the time you get up to the cashier, there will be a place open, trust me. It doesn't look like it, but it is. The railing is right along the water, so you get a great view! Luckily it was sunny the day we visited.

The place is very unique being on the dock and located in a shipping container. We had the halibut which was excellent. However, the slaw was poor and chips were just average. If you eat there you have to stand or sit (if you can find a spot) on the dock which is fun but on days like today it was pretty cold. It is cool watching the float planes take off and land while you are eating though.

Overall, very pricey for what you get.
