Definitely has the 'Korea' feel to it-very much like a typical small restaurant almost anywhere in Korea with the same taste and atmosphere-very difficult to describe unless you've spent time there.
I visited twice during a business trip and was impressed with the authenticity both nights-even down to the quirky slide show on the TV by the cash desk and the sappy 'K-Pop' being played. I had bibimbap-Korean rice hot pot-- the first night and Soon Dubu Jjigae-- spicy tofu stew--the second night, both very good and not 'altered' for Western tastes.
I used my basic Korean to order and the servers really appreciated that! Very friendly once you get beyond the language barrier-just like Korea-I was the only Caucasian in there both nights-very evocative of my time in Korea.
