We chose to eat at Stage because of its reputation and closeness to where we were staying. After sharing a couple of starters we had the haloumi salad (nice but not enough haloumi) and the trout as main courses. Agree with most if the reviews on here that the food is very good, however we left feeling underwhelmed and underfed for what we paid. The mains are of starter size but main prices. On a more positive note, the atmosphere was good and the barman (unfortunately I didn't catch his name) was very knowledgeable about the beers on offer. He also gave us a good tip on how to enhance the taste of the Langos bread. Overall, good food but probably not the place to go if you're looking to fill an empty stomach.
