Was in for lunch. Loved the wasabi tuna sandwich. Not too overdone on the wasabi, but with just the right kick. The IPA was the highlight, great old world style. Looking forward to going back for dinner. I brought a loaf of sourdough bread home with me from the bakery area which was a big hit at dinner that night.

After a tour of the Butterfly Gardens and Buchert Gardens, my husband and I wanted to get away from the crowds, and he wanted some good beer. We wound up here on the other side of the harbor, where we were able to peacefully relax while overlooking the twinkling night lights of the harbor (and our cruise ship). He had a veggie burger that had a homemade patty that made him discard the bun to fully enjoy the flavor, and I really liked my local cheese plate. We both had a samples of their various beers, and ended up purchasing some of the interesting vinegars they also hand make here to take home, they were excellent I wish we could have bought more!

We've been to Spinnakers three times during various visits to Victoria. It's a great destination during a walk along the harbourfront from downtown -- warm (great fireplace!) and welcoming, with good solid food. If the truth be told, though, we've thought the food was better at Swan's pub, a 15-20 minute walk away, on the downtown side of Johnson St. bridge, but Spinnakers definitely wins for atmosphere and view. Ask for bread, or it isn't served with some dishes -- but the whole wheat bread is super. The menu has lots of choices and prices aren't really high. If you like flatbread pizza, it's really good at Spinnakers, and the homemade beer is excellent.

Spinnakers Blue Bridge blows my mind!!!! The beer and cheese taster plate is amazing, a little taste of heaven. A great place for locals and tourists and don't forget to try the chocolate truffles!

Stopped for lunch while on Victoria's beautiful shoreline walk. Great old building, good service, and one of the best BLT's I've ever had. My husband's pulled pork sandwich was tasty as well. Loved the Nut Brown ale!
