“A brilliant seafood meal”
Reviewed August 31, 2014

We stumbled on this place by accident whilst looking for another seafood restaurant in Victoria. What a find! The entree of seared scallops was to die for, and the seared halibut for mains was probably the best seafood meal I've ever been served. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service attentive. This was definitely the best restaurant find of our entire trip to Canada.

“Great service ,amazing food”
Reviewed August 24, 2014

My sister from Australia and I visited Ferris ,on the recommendation of staff at the Parkside (Humboldt ST),where we were staying for the night. So glad we did!To take this great advice ,we looked at other places and menus along the way ,and decided to make the trek up the wooden staircase.
All the Tapas items we tried were perfection. Ursula our waitress ,was a delightful lady ,helpful and efficient. First we started with an expertly made and refreshing mint Mojito ,just what was needed on a hot summers night. Extremely fresh oysters ,3 different varieties .
Highlight was the pork braised cheeks with roasted hazelnuts .
But each plate we tried was interesting ,tasty ,fresh and arrived with perfect timing.
The interior of the restaurant is rustic, with original red bricks and warm wood tones. The washroom was very clean and creative in its colours and furnishing .
We were both very impressed and happy at Ferris.

“The best!!!”
Reviewed August 22, 2014

Went to dinner last night with a friend. Had not been for a long while and don't know why. They offer a shellfish/seafood menu to die for, great salads, selection of non seafood dishes and a full bar selection of drinks. Will not wait so long to go back. Great place to eat in Victoria.

“If you are ever in Victoria, it's worth seeking out this place”
Reviewed August 21, 2014

My niece lives on the island and is a regular visitor to this place.
On her recommendation, we made a reservation for the downstairs restaurant.
I notice some reviews say that there is only a bar downstairs. However, if you walk through the bar there is both an indoor and semi-outdoor restaurant area. Although less formal. they still sell oysters and their other great seafood dishes. If you don't like seafood, don't worry as there is plenty other mouth-watering items on their menu.
Well worth the money.
