Our travel companions had a relative living in Victoria who took us to the brewpub for lunch. We sat on an outside patio by the water on a gloriously beautiful day. Bottles of water were provided as we sat down. I must admit that my focus was more on the beverages than the sandwich menu, although the luch was great. The service was quick and friendly.
The wife and I ordered different Canoe brews a couple of different times and traded tastes to get a quick sense of the quality of the offerings. All sampled were quite good and deemed worthy of further study ;-)
They also offer beers other than their own on the menu for those who for some reason would not prefer a fresher brew(?). The menu also includes a full range of cocktails, wines, and a very impressive listing of single malt scotches and premium bourbons and spirits.
This establishment definitely deserves a more complete look than we had time for on this trip. It is definitely on our do-over list when the chance arises.
