We haven't been to Victoria in almost 8 years and we decided this time to go to restaurants that were not chains(Moxie's, Milestones etc). The first one we went too was Blighty's. In two words, perfect and amazing. The best restaurants in many cases are not ones that spent a fortune on decor or on the building. They spend it on quality ingredients and hire an amazing executive chef. Richelle provides you with an amazing experience. We ended up having her as our waitress. Personable, funny, very knowledgeable and she makes you feel like a welcomed guest to her intimate bistro.
We ordered the lamb shank and beef tenderloin. Outstanding! We narrowed down what wine we were going to have with our meals and Richelle helped us decide on the right one. The wine list may not be extensive, but she has some of the best wines available. As for desserts, she has an interesting way of presenting them. Again, it was excellent.
And for those who have a gluten intolerance, Richelle provides excellent options.
