We took the walking tour with an older gentleman leading us & loved it. Very interesting. Also enjoyed lunches on the beautiful veranda as well as drinks in the evening. A lovely spot to be protected & watch all the activity on the harbor!

The good: server was nice, tea was good (and plentiful) and the sandwiches were very tasty. You must order ahead to get the $35 dollar,m rather than $52 dollar tea for children. This is considered a 'must-do' when in Victoria...and it's a little bit of a cattle call. It's a big, 'get 'em in--get 'em out' production. Server tried to upsell us on doodads, tea to take home, etc. That said, the kids thought it was grand fun. Next time, I think I'll do some research and go off the very well beaten track (and save the $200+ bucks)

A little bit of old world charm, a chance to take in wonderful architecture and living history around you. One of our favourite stops is the Bengal Lounge for their curry buffet - absolutely wonderful! A great couple/friends place, we visit every couple of months to take it all in.

Even though it may seem expensive, it is definitely worth the experience, and you get enough food with the tea, that you don't need dinner. We were treated royally!!
A much better experience than we had expected.

We went here for 4:30 high tea with my 8 and 11 year old. We loved the royal treatment. My kids had a special menu with animal shaped chocolate chip cookies and mini sandwiches. They even recd their own certificates at the end of the tea. It is expensive so just be prepared. But is a must do experience while in Victoria.
