We very much enjoyed out stay here. The hotel is in a great place, close but not too close to all the amenities and tourist locations. Parking is 5 dollars a night. Our room faced onto Douglas Street and while we were on the 3rd floor there is some street noise. This dies down around 9 or so given the location of the Inn. Front desk and housekeeping were top notch. The hotel itself is very quiet with no noise from hallways or adjacent rooms. As others have mentioned there is no elevator so that might be an issue for some. Would stay again when in the area.

We've loved our stay. Staff were great. Fabulous spot. It's not the big end of town but it's right near Beacon's Hill Park, the museum, the harbour. It's well appointed, maybe a bit dated but that makes it more comfortable. Highly recommended.

Decent place. My family of 4 stayed here for one night. Our room had a nice little kitchen area adjacent to a living area with a pull out sofa. If also had a good size bathroom. The bedroom also had 2 double beds in. The whole room seemed quite clean and it wasn't too noisy, even though our room was near the road. Overall it was a good place to stay for one night.

An excellent location and convenient to access on site car parking @ $5 pn + tax. If the immediate car parking bays at the hotel are full, they have access to a neighbouring area only 50 m away.
Friendly and helpful staff across all contacts. We arrived at 12:30 am and the very pleasant mature male night manager could not have been more helpful to us after a long travel day. Carrying my wife's suitcase up the stairs to L3 of the middle building was much appreciated.
Room 302 in that block was super clean and well set up incl a full kitchen.
There is a small onsite laundry room off the lobby that for $2 will get your clothes clean and another $2 will easily get them dry.
This hotel is good value in an expensive city; though in places it is showing its vintage. They have many returning, long stay sun-bird guests / Canadian etc retirees who also will be competing for bookings with tourists.
I would have given 5 stars but there is significant traffic noise even with the double glazed bedroom window closed. And our room was not directly on the 2 abutting main roads.

Room Tip: Many rooms will have significant traffic noise

My sister and I were very impressed at the quality of this establishment. Very friendly staff, they stored our backpacks for us so that we could explore Victoria before checkin time. The room was spacious and giant bed was very comfortable. WIFI was excellent speed, cable TV in room, kitchen with coffee machine and oven etc was very useful, also hot to have a bath for the first time in our long trip which was such a treat. Location is great too, only 5 mins walk from parliament building and local shop.

If you’re looking for a good lunch spot and like seafood, Fishhook is only ten mins walk from the hotel and was absolutely delicious!
