The Eat like a Canadian Tour is just what I had hoped for! We sampled all delicious Canadian food and even got some behind the scenes access! Our guide, Benda, was a pleasure and she was very knowledgable about Victoria and the places we ate at. All of the restaurants and shops we visited were delicious and I had not been to any of them before! I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to have a fun time, walk around the city, and eat like a Canadian!

Had a great time exploring with Brenda! The food samples were amazing and definitely NOT your typical bite sized eats. Portions and variety of foods were way beyond our expectations. Such a great tour and an awesome value for the money spent.

So our tour was around China Town and the Victoria Public Market at the Hudson. Our guide gave a strong history of the impact of Chinese and other Asian communities on Victoria, along with the history of the colonial settlement of the area. We sampled a wide variety of foods including beer from the Philips Brewery. Our tour took a little over two hours and covered about a mile of walking. At the end we found ourselves surrounded by the temptations of a French Bakery. While their Macaroons, which were part of the tour were exceptional, the other offerings threatened to replace all of the calories which we had burnt on the morning walk. Give these folks a try. If you have a large group and a specific interest (craft brews for example) they can customize a unique tour just for your group.

I had a great time on this tour - Bonnie our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable and the tour itself was well planned and thought out. I was really surprised at how much food we were actually given at each of the places visited and how good it all was. I was in Victoria for about a week after the tour and this was a great way to learn about new places to try and visit on the rest of my trip.
Thank-you for a fabulous day out, I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Victoria BC
