We were drawn by the opportunity to try Laotian food, but in all fairness, stuck with the lunch specials, which did not seem different from Thai offerings - so cannot comment on the Lao specialties. Price very reasonable and large portions. Served with a green salad with a light, fresh, citrusy dressing. Would have preferrred the salad to be served on a side plate, rather than on the same plate as the hot food.
-green curry with chicken - medium was just hot enough -tasty and similar to what i've had many times in Thai restaurants
-beef with black pepper - tasty but not outstanding

-our service was quick and efficient
-table and floor seemed a bit sticky, though no visible dirt

Had lunch here recently. I had a spicy lao beef noodle soup and my wife a green curried chicken. When asked how spicy we wanted our food we both said hot! Wow, it sure was hot but very tasty at the same time. We would order medium next time. Service was good although it was not very busy at the time. Decor was very dull and faded and could really use some updating. Would we go back? Absolutely.

We have eaten food from this restaurant many times over the past two years, although only as take out. We keep going back because the food ranges from very good to exceptional, depending on the dish and the night. My only real complaint with the place, and it has been a major complaint at times is their slow and unfriendly service. Often when we place an order and are told a time for pick up (usually about 25 minutes) the food is not actually ready for twice as long. This happened on our last visit where I was told 20-25 minutes and it actually took 50 minutes. I was sitting at the restaurant with my daughter waiting and it wasn't even busy. This place is chronically understaffed and if they ever got busy they would be in real trouble. Even with the delay all they ever offer is a sheepish apology that doesn't really seem sincere. With all this being said about the service the food is still great for the most part. Everything is fresh and the flavours are exceptional. If you go, make sure you are ready to be patient, and if so then you should be happy.

Went for dinner with partner. Ordered Shu Shee -basa with red and green peppers, coconut milk, and fresh lime leaves in red curry and Kua Gai Med Mamuang – Stir-fried chicken with pineapple, red and green pepper, broccoli, cauliflower and cashew nuts. Shared a large coconut sweet rice - delicious. Would go there again anytime. Very nice environment, friendly, clean.

Driven past this place tons of times but finally stopped in for an impromptu bite to eat.

We had to wait over 5 mins to be seated and then another 10 mins for our drinks. It appeared that they were unexpectedly busy and I assume theres only one chef, one server and the husband does everything else. Regardless we were happy to see there were quite a few other diners. The poor server was rushed off her in feet and tables were left uncleared the whole time we were there.

This place needs a lick of paint and maybe some tablecloths to hide the dated furniture, definitely just a go to place when you just want a bite to eat in casual clothes!

Regardless of that, the food was authentic and superb whilst being very reasonably priced, we would definitely return. I think it would be a good place to stop in for lunch as the prices looked excellent.
