Owner description: This scenic patch of waterfront is the location of Victoria's many tourist attractions, recreational activities, restaurants and shopping. For a special treat, have afternoon tea at the grand Empress Hotel or board a ferry for a harbor tour.

“Victoria's illuminations”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

If you're in Victoria then you must have a night time stroll along the harbour. It is just the best way to finish off the night. Victoria is definitely one of my favourite places. Also check out The Flying Otter Grill, best wings in town.

“The Victoria inner harbour going to be great”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

The inner harbour has a lot -- beauty, walking paths, water taxis, restaurants, hotels. The David Foster Way is about to happen, which will give us even more!

“lots to see”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

If you are in Victoria you must walk the inner Harbour. Its where all the action is. You can see parliament building, watch the ferries come and go. There are plenty of restaurants along the harbour. If you are adventurous they have kayak tours. Heck they even have an airport in the harbour for the seaplanes to dock and taxi out. Its just a great way to spend a couple of hours.

“English village meets West Coast outdoors”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

If you like flower baskets hanging everywhere, and colourful boats, and a Scottish piper or two, and fish and chips, plus a pint after a long walk, but you also like space and panoramic vista that only the Canadian west coastal region can provide, then spend a morning, or an afternoon, or a whole day wandering the harbour streets, narrow or wide, in Victoria downtown. Souvenir junk is unavoidable; but there are also quiet pockets here and there. The harbour is atmospheric in winter too, so you don't have to wait for a hot sunny day. Just go.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

A beautiful place to walk around with views of the Empress Hotel, The Parliament Buildings, and the ships in the harbour, and downtown Victoria. See the nearby horse-drawn carriages or go for a ride. In the summer, there are artists there selling their artwork and you can even get a caricature done of yourself. Other vendors sell jewellery and other items. Bring your camera!
