We enjoy Abbeymoore B & B in Victoria. Last year in June, we were in Victoria, staying at another B & B and decided to stay on the island an extra day. So I decided it was time to try a new B & B for the one night, to see if it would be as enjoyable as the one we usually go to. We decided on the Abbeymoore for two reasons: We love to stay in heritage homes rather than newer ones, AND one time I called Ian, the Innkeeper, to make some general inquiries and I always remembered how friendly he was on the phone and how inviting he made it sound, with the crackling fire, etc. So we chose Abbeymore for this extra day in Victoria. Well, we were very pleased with our experience. Ian and Anne are what make this B&B such a success! They are down to earth people, who always have time to talk to you. It is a relaxing, grande home; yet a very casual atmosphere - just what we like. So needless to say, we have made a return visit to Abbeymoore and look forward to more in the future. We recommend this B&B with confidence that you too will find it a pleasing experience.

We spent four days at Abbymoore Manor with three other couples and were completely surprised and thoroughly pleased with the experience. Ian and Anne were the best hosts ever, and their breakfasts were out of this world in culinary delight, appearance and taste. We highly recommend their establishment to anyone going to Victoria. We will most certainly stay there our next visit.

This place is a must for the most discerning traveller who is looking for all the heritage charm and personal attention that only a B&B can offer. My wife and I decided to stay at Abbeymoore Manor instead of the larger hotel establishments in town based on reading many positive TripAdvisor reviews. This B&B is within close reach to the downtown sights yet well located in a quiet residential district just a stroll away from the beautiful landscaped grounds of Government House. Innkeepers Ian and Anne extended every bit of gracious hospitality to us during our 3 night stay. We felt pampered in their Rose Room which had a very comfortable four post bed also featuring its own fireplace and a cosy lounge area. The rooms and common areas are clean and very well maintained. Our hosts demonstrated their gourmet talents as breakfasts were prepared to perfection. We enjoyed waking up to the wonderful aromas of fresh baking and homecooking which certainly whet our appetites each morning. The banana foster waffles served with chicken sausages was worth the price of admission alone. Our host's dining recommendations in town were also right on the money. They made a reservation for us at a local Tapas Bar which definitely surpassed our culinary expectations - try the dinner platter for two with mojitos cocktails! There was also a computer niche at the B&B which made it very convenient to check our e-mails. We highly recommend visitors stay at the Abbeymoore which offers friendly knowledgeable service, great value and a unique memorable experience. Thanks again to Ian and Anne.

This was the best b&b we have stayed in! The property is beautiful and our 1 bedroom suite was loaded with special ammenities. They even provided brownies, fruit and drinks during our stay. Ian is a great chef, and Anne made us feel very welcome for our visit. All the other guests were impressed as well. We will be back for a futute visit.

My family and I recently stayed at the Abbeymoore Manor in Victoria, BC and found it to be the most beautiful, friendly and well-appointed bed & breakfast we've ever stayed in. The manor itself is a huge heritage home (built in 1912), just down the street from the Governor General's mansion and public acreage, Craigdarroch Castle and not too far from downtown Victoria. We stayed in one of the "garden suites" on the ground floor level and the suite was absolutely perfect. Very clean, cozy and private, the suite contained everything we needed. Before we left the next day, our host Ian took us on a tour of the manor and we were able to marvel at the number of different suites and rooms available, including a top-floor suite that was simply gorgeous. We wish we could have stayed for a week!

I recommend Abbeymoore Manor to anyone, couples or families, who are looking to stay in one of the most delightful and awe-inspiring heritage homes in Victoria.

This is a wonderful B&B - the innkeepers are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They gave great recommendations for dinner. The rooms are very large and beautifully decorated - I highly recommend the Rose Room!!
The area of town that the Abbeymoore Manor is in is a wonderful neighborhood with beautiful homes - great area to run in.
