A three day break in Victoria, and Abbeymoore Manor was a great base. Following a personal recommendation we arrived and received a great welcome from Stephanie. Following settling in we asked for somewhere for an evening meal. The best was to come though. We were booked into the Rose Room - the King Size Bed, Shower Room, chair and sofa to relax on - the room was well appointed.

Then came the Breakfasts - pictures attached from the three mornings (and the menus). Whether it was the Tuna Omelette, Eggs Benedict or Garden Fritatta, each day a great breakfast. To add to this was the view out of the window and the humming bird feeding.

In the evenings, the pantry was a nice added touch. The mugs for tea/coffee were also available for sale. I collect mugs - so two duly bought and now exported back to the UK.

From the initial welcome from Stephanie, to the breakfast welcomes from Michelle, Maren, Ian and Anne, through to the final goodbye and checkout with Stephanie we were made most welcome.

Would we go again. Most definitely.

Room Tip: The images on the web site do not do the rooms justice, they are far better.

A really warm and friendly B&B; the owners were so welcoming and helpful, including sightseeing tips and restaurant recommendations that all were great. The breakfasts were incredibly good.
And the house in directly across from the grounds of Government House; the British royal family's abode when the come to Victoria. The grounds are beautiful and a must-see.

My husband and I had never stayed at a B&B and we were a bit hesitant however after our stay at Abbeymoore...I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The entire staff was AMAZING!! Whatever you wanted there was always someone there with a smile and an answer. Much like the other reviews, we felt like royalty but we also felt at ease and at home there. I'm not kidding when I say that we never wanted to leave. We had a garden suite which was like our own private apartment with everything you could ever need. There was great pub about 5 or 6 blocks down that was recommended by one of the staff and even that was great too. I can't wait to go back again, and again and again.

This is our second stay at the Abbeymoore and it continues to amaze. If you have a need, they have anticipated it. If you called ahead with a request, it is done. Without exception the Abbeymoore is on the list of premiere Inns in North America. The customer service is perfect...attentive but not intrusive; the food creative and delicious and the accommodations well appointed and comfortable. Ian and Ann are the consummate hosts: friendly, kind and willing to help in anyway they can.

Room Tip: We love the Iris room with a deck where my husband can read in the morning while I sleep in. That only works when the weather is warm. If we stayed there in the winter we might try a room away from the road.
