Always an interesting new display plus the permanent, historical exhibit. Great for kids and you can go to the IMax Theatre before or after your visit as it is in the same building - you can buy a combo ticket to save money.

I was wondering if we should go to the museum or not, because we have visited many museums around the world and we planned to visit Victoria's parks as it was a sunny day.
After some indecision, go / not go... we decided "yes, let's go!" and we don't regret it! The museum has a great collection and it is very well appointed! For sure an attraction that should not be missed!

Although it is a small museum it was very informative on the history of BC. The IMAX presentation To the Arctic was enjoyable. In general worth taking a couple hours of time to visit.

This museum is one of the best in Canada. It has exhibits from all facets of BC's past. From forestry to fishing; from city life to rural life. In addition it often hosts travelling exhibits from all over the world.

I'm traditionally not a museum person, but I love the RBC museum. They had an amazing photography exhibit, which got me in the door, and then I spent hours more going through all the other exhibits. They have great informaiton and exhibits on the Native Americans.
