“Best. Museum. Ever.”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

This museum is amazing. I can sometimes take or leave the visiting exhibits, but the permanent exhibits are fantastic. My husband and I have been multiple times and we never get tired of the exhibits. A real, complete, piece of BC history. Worth every penny. Wear good shoes, you will be on your feet all day!

“It would not be Victoria without a visit to this museum...”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

This museum never disappoints. This time we took advantage of the adjoining Imax theater for a Mt. Everest movie along with the museum visit. Life-scale First Nation structures, a National Geographic Photography exhibit, walk-through town of Victoria at the turn of the century are just a few of the extraordinary exhibits. I never miss this museum and never get tired of it.

“Very Well Done”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

I recently visited on a cold/rainy/windy day and it was a perfect escape. Since the weather was bad, I took my time and spent about 4 hours here. It was well put together and has things to entertain all age groups. There is also an IMAX here. I went back in the evening for a special showing. In addition to the regular science type films, they do Hollywood movies on the weekends. These cost a bit more but was pretty cool to see Bond on a screen that big. The movie changes Mar 1 to the Hobbit.
