The Royal BC Museum is, in my opinion, the best museum on the west coast of North America. The displays are fun and interactive, yet extremely informative. The artwork on display is world class; I love the totem poles on the main floor. My one gripe is a small one; the food in the cafeteria is a bit iffy. It can be decent but often is not. Maybe spend your day at the museum and then go across the road to the Spaghetti Factory for food. If you are in Victoria, this museum ranks number two for me on the list of must sees. Butchart's Gardens is number one.
