If you can’t make it to Butchart Gardens, I recommend this park. It is a lovely place for a stroll, bike ride or playground fun.

Really lovely views and has a cycle path off the road so safe for beginner cyclist. A couple of nice totem poles too
This is Victoria's Central Park Equivalent. It is very beautiful. It contains trees that you would not see in many parts of the world.
A well maintained park where the family can enjoy the day. The park has luscious green lawn; ideal for any activities or picnics. Beautiful flowers and big shady trees compliments the quiet and serene environment. A small zoo is also available for children to pet the animals. Highlight of the zoo activity occurs at 10:00 am everyday when they have the “Running of the Goats”. Fifty goats are let loose in the corral and then the children join in the scramble. “ Goats playing with kids”!
luscious of outing
Easy access to the city and beach. Tons of walking trails and family activities such as petting zoo. Very well laid out. Great gardens. Historic site here too — mile zero and the beginning of the trans Canada highway. All activities free. Great place to take many pictures of the scenery of Victoria.
This park is absolutely beautiful and it’s so close to the Inner Harbour. There are many walking paths to discover a unique little area within the park. Flowers are everywhere, several ponds, along with peacocks and squirrels. Be sure to see the sleeping lady statue! You can walk all the way to the ocean. There is a petting zoo for the kids. There is even a band shell with local musicians, but the park is so large there are plenty of places for quiet and solitude. We visited this park several times during our stay in Victoria. Highly recommend you visit Beacon Hill Park!
