Lots of different parts of the park, worth a stroll, definately worth taking some bread or seeds to feed the ducks and spending some time near the lilipad pond.

Victoria is famous by the Butchart Garden, but I always recommend Beacon Hill Park. It's much bigger than Butchart Garden and free for the public. There are so many funs in the park. The kids will love the petting zoo and the play yard, the adults will definitely love the stunning garden. We almost went to there every weekend!

We spent a lovely afternoon enjoying Celtic music in the park.
There are lots of free musical events scheduled which one can enjoy. It is certainly not to be missed if one is planning on being in Victoria for a weekend.

This park was right across the street from our B&B (Dashwood Manor Seaside B&B). We were amazed both by the size of this park, acres and acres, and by the beautiful flowers and gardens. Lots of pathways (unpaved) and walkways (paved). Very relaxing spot.

On a nice day you can go jogging, bicycling, or just exploring in this park. There are places for picnics, a bandshell, flower gardens, a children's zoo, trails, and the world's tallest totem pole. At the southern end you can go down to the beach and see views across the water to the Olympic Mountains.
