We took our granddaughter to this park last weekend and we all had a great time with the sites & sounds of Beacon Hill Park. You can enjoy the fascinating movements /colours of the local peacocks, ducks & seagulls or burn off excess energy in your children. The washroom facilities are clean & user friendly, plus the vehicle parking is free for up to 1.5 hours. There is also a children's petting farm, however it is closed at this time of the year.

After you've done the tourist thing, do the resident thing... follow them to BHP, stroll the cliff path, breath in the fresh sea air, admire the Washington state mountains and skip a few stones. We go there to unwind... you're welcome to join us. Ask us and we'll tell of Victoria's other great places to visit.

Beacon Hill Park is a 200 acre park right next to downtown Victoria.

The park has small ponds, walk ways, play fields, petting zoo, flower gardens, look outs and a 3-4 km walk way along the ocean.

Many weddings shoot their pictures right here in the park.

Pack a picnic, bring a frisbee and spend a day.

It is just a short walk up from the core of the city and we'll worth the stroll regardless of the weather. You can walk all the way out to the seashore. Lovely!

This part is one of my favorites, every year that we visit Victoria, we ALWAYS go through Beacon Hill Park, then stop at the drive in and get ourselves an ice cream (the best in Victoria)
