This park is gorgeous. It was fun seeing all of the gorgeous flowers. It is a great place for a morning run or an afternoon walk. There were a lot of fun places for kids too.

This is a beautiful park located right in the heart of downtown. For those on a limited budget they passed a new law a few years ago that overnight camping is free. You just have to have your RV or tent out by the late morning. Can't beat the price and location for camping!

Beacon Hill Park is a place I would visit many times of year as there is always something different. The plants are always changing and it is just a beautiful place to stroll around. It's a large park and worth spending the day exploring.

I loved Beacon Hill Park. Very "runnable" and "walkable" and easy to navigate. I liked going all the way from one end of the park to the other to discover the ocean path that goes all along the seawall. The peacocks and turtles made it really fun, and of course I love seeing the little ducklings. The herons were apparently nesting, though I saw none. Lots of ponds, gardens, and varying paths. Some shady, some sunny. They have a stage and a kids' petting zoo, and also a playground. The stage had a cultural festival doing dances while we were there. That was cute. All in all, a really lovely park and I could have spent lots more time exploring it!

We stayed on Menzies St. in a vacation home just a few blocks away from the park. While the park was beautiful, we were in Victoria during a month long drought back in September, so the outlying areas of the parks were brown. Once we got into the middle of the park that had been watered we encountered a multitude of beautiful flowers. The park has nice, paved walking areas. There is also a fun petting zoo with donkeys, goats, etc. It is a relaxing area to get away from the bustle of the Inner Harbour and downtown area. Next to the park is a little diner, the names escapes me, that is a good place for a burger or ice cream.
