The staff are unfailingly courteous, our room was spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable, and the location in downtown Victoria is as good as can be. We chose to park our vehicle in the garage across the street, which wasn't overly expensive. The breakfast included with the room was nice enough too.

Recently stayed for one night in this lovely boutique hotel. We were impressed from the moment we stepped in - friendly and instant service, a room upgrade without having to ask, and the personal touches of complimentary apples, chocolates, turn down service, and breakfast all made our stay fully enjoyable. The decor is tasteful, and the location is fantastic! Within walking distance to everything we wanted to see in the inner harbour. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Front desk couldn't have been more helpful, polite, made feel like in 5 star + hotel. Everything in hotel was easily accessed. Restaurant is so convenient; excellent service. Everything is low key and exceptional.

The location of the hotel is perfect. We had a car but only used it to visit the outskirts of the city. Our room had a view of the government building that was especially beautiful when it was lit up at night. The room was very large with an expansive bank of windows and a lovely bathroom. We ate several meals in the restaurant and enjoyed each one. The spa was wonderful. A massage apart from my usual therapist at home is not something I can always indulge in, but they had a Certified Oncology Esthetician on staff so that was a great treat. As you know if you've had cancer surgery a massage can can more harm than good so was a very thoughtful addition to their staff. The spa also had some great products for purchase. I highly recommend the Magnolia if you travel to beautiful Victoria.

Our family of four stayed two nights at the Magnolia at the end of June. We had a great experience. We had a corner room with 2 queens. The room was very well maintained with nice furnishings and very clean. Nice view of the parliament buildings and the corner of the harbor. Loved that the bathroom had a separate shower. The included continental breakfast was very good. Just the basics, but we enjoyed it. My daughter said the toast was the best she'd ever had. We also used the hotel's complimentary bicycles for a ride around the area. Great location within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and several gelato stores. Also, one other quick note. My daughter inadvertently left her Fitbit in the room as it fell off the bedside table during the night. Just as we were realizing that it was missing several hours after we left the hotel for Vancouver, the hotel called us to let us know they had found it and would mail it to us. Great integrity and service.

Room tip: Corner room with 2 queens was a great room for a family of 4.
