My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia. It's a really nice place and centrally located in downtown Victoria - just a short walk from the many shops as well as the waterfront. We got a lovely room on 5th floor with a great view of the neighborhood and harbor (partial). Paid only $10 extra to get room with sitting area which was super useful for the rainy afternoons that we had. The bed was comfy. The hotel staff was really friendly and helped us find what we wanted in the town. It does cost $24/day to park on weekdays so budget for that. The spa next door looked great but we didn't have time to try it.
The restaurant next door (Catelano) is worth visiting (see my review!) and does hotel room service and morning breakfast (which is built into price). Try the waffles!
WOuld definitely stay here again if we visit Victoria again.
