Jos and Donna really share their home and go "all-out" to make you feel like a member of their family. They are great resources for sight-seeing, history, restaurants and shopping--don't miss the 3-ring binder of information in their foyer. For those who appreciate a rural setting with spectacular views and a convenient location, this B&B should clearly be rated #1 in the Victoria area. The rooms are very clean and neat. A leisurely and REALLY delicious breakfast at a table that overlooks their busy bird feeder, wildlife, woods and garden was a refreshing way to start our day. The view of Mt. Baker from the deck (see their website) is spectacular. By the way, their website is the best of any B&B in the Victoria area. It has links to many useful tourist attractions, ferries & airlines, other accommodations in the area....(they also are web-design/IT consultants). We stayed for three days and enjoyed Butchart Gardens and the Royal BC Museum; in three days we didn't even begin to scratch the surface of the wonderful attractions on Vancouver Island! GPS users: be sure to enter "Saanich" rather than "Victoria" per instructions on their website.
