“Cannot fault this hotel”

We were booked to stay only 1 night and at check in they upgraded us to a penthouse suite - very nice.

Good location within easy walking distance to everything - absolutely no complaints on this hotel.

We were roomless for an evening and were able to book a room the night before via priceline for $145 inc tax and fees. The hotel is in need of serious upgrades, however, for one evening the room was sufficient. The gym is VERY nice with top of the line cardio equipment, which personally made up for other deficiencies. Excellent buffet breakfast, one of the best I have had during our travel to the Vancouver area. Oh, and if you're looking to nap during the day you need to know that they are doing construction in the underground parking lot. Very noisy until approx 5PM

I got a small suite on the 8th floor for half the price of what you would pay for a normal single room in a regular conference hotel. It even had a balcony and a view to the lake. Just great! Spaceous, nice and everything in order. Needed a new chair due to back problems. It was sent up in less than 5 minutes. Nice restaurant with good food at reasonable prices. When away on business it's great to have a good hotel as a base. This one made my trip an absolute pleasure.

Hotel is just minutes from Inner Harbour and Fishermans Wharf- we took Victoria Clipper from Seattle and walked 2 blocks to hotel. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Free internet access in lobby. We were in a batchelor suite, which had a small kitchen, that suited our purposes of cooking breakfast and reheating leftovers. Hop-on, Hop-off bus stops directly in front of building and takes you around the city so you can best decide where to spend your time. Drivers were wonderful; some of the buses could use shocks and brakes. Restaurant a bit pricey, though we enjoyed $12.00 breakfast buffet(except for dry eggs). Staff helpful.
Stop at Fishermans Whaft for Barb's Fish and Chips - floating houseboat restaurant.. Very good haddock, though pricey for a non-eat-in restaurant. Fun people watching eating on the wharf - lots of activity.

We spent 4 nights and thought it was a great hotel. Room was clean. I think the staff was vey helpful. There are a lot of hotels in Canada that don't have AC.
They had a restaurant but we did't try. it.
It is very convient to the ferry dock to Port Angeles. You drive your car down the night before & they will put you first in line, next morning walk a block & you are there.
the Irish Time great pub. Not much of a China town.

Large rooms, although quite dated in style. Bathroom ventilation is good, a nice change from many hotels. Free internet but not wireless. Location is quite removed from restaurant area.

My husband is in a wheelchair and we have reserved "wheelchair accessible" rooms in other hotels over the years and rarely are they actually wheelchair accessible. We were THRILLED with the room at Harbour Towers - it was actually a mini-suite and not only did it have a roll-in shower, it also had a separate bathtub/shower. It was excellent! The entire suite was lovely - well appointed, clean, roomy and a cute little deck looking over the pleasant street. Not a view suite, but for accessibility it was perfect. A little kitchenette, sparkling clean, with everything you could need was definitely a bonus!

The front desk staff were professional and friendly. At first we were a bit concerned because to reach the elevators you must take the stairs - or a wheelchair lift - which was what we needed and had never used one like this before. It has obviously been installed to make the hotel accessible and it worked well and the staff was helpful.

There is a great pool and gymn as well. It again, was spotless.

There is a cold beer/wine store in the hotel across the street and although we did not use the dining room or lounge, they were always busy and looked inviting.

Best of all was the price! If you stayed 3 nights you got 30% off. It was about 1/2 the price of some of the other hotels in the area, and less than I have paid for some rather seedy motels in Victoria.

It did not have air conditioning - but even though the days were hot when we were there, the room had fans and was pleasant.

I'd recommend this room to anyone who has accessibility issues!
