We appreciated the time and effort the artists' must have put into making this museum. My husband and I took our time and took note of every little detail since the displays were so intricate. There are interactive buttons you can press to either make models move or listen to a short audio clip.

The museum takes you through a trip of Canadian/American history through displays and audio snippets.

You could whizz by quickly if you don't stop at each display, where if you stop and take note of details, you'll feel you got your monies worth.

Discounts are offered for students, seniors and BCAA member holders.

I used to go here with my Grandma when I was little and we loved it, now I take my kids here and they love it! I can't wait to go back and check out the new Camelot display.

Hello Steven E,

We appreciate your 5 star review!

So many locals fondly recall visiting Miniature World as a child, and now, in their adulthood, bring their own children into our unique attraction! It’s so gratifying to hear that families return again and again!

Since your interest seems to lie in our new Camelot exhibit, you may want to preview “The Camelot Castle” being built. Check out our Miniature World face book page which shows a step by step montage of pictures from beginning to end. This is the nitty gritty in scene creation, showing the painstaking labour of miniature building at its finest. It’s a fascinating journey into the world of smallness.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

We are local to Victoria and Miniature World is one of our frequent stops. It is entertaining for all ages and we see new things every time we visit. The new Camelot expansion is fabulous! A little different from the rest of the exhibits (less detailed, less crowded) but it's really neat all the same :)but

We cater to all age groups and welcome everyone who walks through our door.

If you’re unaware, we offer discounted season passes during the month of December, which provides significant savings compared to our regular season passes. This inexpensive pass provides locals with yearlong admission to Miniature World without having to pay for repeated visits.

Yes, the new Camelot exhibit is our pride and joy. Three years in the making, this exhibit offers 11 new dioramas depicting the legend of King Arthur. Your “fabulous” comment in reference to Camelot, makes the journey of miniature making all the more worthwhile!

Looking forward to seeing you again!

I have been back at least 5 times. I LOVE this place. Give yourself 1 hour to walk through. Don't be put off by the $10.00 or higher entry fee. You will be transported to a different world. All ages will love this, seriously. If you love doll houses, be prepared to come face to face with the doll houses of your dreams, completely decorated with authentic pieces. It's mesmerizing. Really cool place. They just expanded to include a Camelot display--haven't seen this yet.

Hello Jodie B,

Wow! All I can say is, what a fantastic, 5 star review! We’re so appreciative of your kind words and love of Miniature World. We’re extremely proud of our unique attraction which caters to all age groups.

With over 85 miniaturized dioramas there is something for everyone! To add to your diorama descriptions, we also offer different themed rooms such as: Fantasy Land, Frontier Land, New and Old London Town, Circus World, Historical War Scenes, The Great Canadian Railway, The Enchanted Valley of Castles and our latest creation that you mentioned called Camelot.

Our interactive components are a stand-out feature for all! The Great Canadian Railway has miniature trains that can be controlled with a touch of a button, while push able dollhouse buttons control lights, rocking chairs, and a television. Other features include a movable, miniature, carousal, and operational cars in our ``Classic Car Rally.`` ` Circus World`` fair rides &``The Enchanted Valley of Castles`` Gondola rides, are set in motion with a people motion detector or figure out how to open the castle doors to the Camelot Castle.

I’d thought I’d mention our Season Pass sale since you are a repeat customer. This sale happens in December and offers significant savings compared to our regular season’s passes. This inexpensive pass provides locals with yearlong admission to Miniature World without having to pay for repeated visits. Keep this in mind. See you soon!

Again, thank-you for your gracious review!

Very interesting and unusual type of museum. Lots of miniatures, you will find war scenes, historical view of different cities all around the world, saw-mill model (that actually works))), Camelot legend scenes, circus models and more. I had a great time looking at every little detail of the miniatures and learned a lot about culture of past times from educational audio records. Highly recommend.
