An absolutely wonderful place to stay. Comfortable bed and room. Gary & Warren are very welcoming hosts. During our late Nov visit, they had the home beautifully decorated for Christmas. Absolutely lovely. We stayed in the Gate-keepers suite which was quiet, cozy and had it's own private entrance. The location near Beacon hill park is great - easy walk to/from inner harbor and downtown. Couldn't have been better.

Things I love about Beaconsfield Inn:
-The library
-The antiques
-The staff
-The food (I ate so much for breakfast)
-The cookies served in the library
-The character of the house and the rooms
-The jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces
-The history of the B&B
-The location
-The open door policy (you can go in any room with an open door)

Room Tip: Some rooms have jacuzzi tubs, some have fireplaces, some have both

I'm a little late posting this review as I stayed here back in June this year. I rented unit D of the Beaconsfield vacation suites for a week and it was a perfect home base as I was in town on business. Beautifully appointed and a great location near a large park and the water, with plenty of footpaths to choose from for my morning runs. In a lovely neighborhood and within walking distance of groceries and restaurants, as well as the city center. Appreciated the privacy and self-sufficiency of the place, and yet Gary and Warren were always available to answer questions if needed. Wonderful hosts, wonderful stay!

Best B&B we've ever stayed in, and we are not young chickens, but do travel all over the world. The inn itself was so charming, the hosts were considerate, helpful and just lovely people. Oh, and the breakfast really was gourmet, beautifully presented and really yummy! We would score our stay higher, if we could.

Room Tip: I peaked in the rooms, and each was more charming than the one before, though our host told us that...

This was our first visit to Beaconsfield, but we will certainly return. Warren and Gary greeted us warmly and welcomed us in on a blustery, rainy November evening. They gave us a complimentary upgrade to the Duchess Suite, a comfortably luxurious room complete with an actual wood-burning fireplace! Home-made cookies, coffee and tea-making facilities, and even a glass of sherry made the evening most pleasant. Breakfast in the dining room the next morning (featuring lemon ricotta pancakes with a blueberry sherry compote) was delicious. They were just starting to decorate for Christmas, and the place was already looking very festive. Gary and Warren are excellent hosts, professional, friendly, helpful. Excellent in all ways!

We were enchanted with this B&B. The hosts Gary and Warren, and their assistant, Christina, made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Dietary concerns were cheerfully accommodated into the delicious breakfasts which were feasts for the eyes as well as the body. Such a treat to walk down from our room to the warm fire and gentle background music. Great to visit the library to read a book, have a cup of tea, or even a wee bit of sherry. We loved our visit in this conveniently located inn.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary at this charming B & B. Only minutes after arriving at Beaconsfield Inn a bottle of champagne was delivered to our door! We stayed in the Emily Carr suite...impeccable and so romantic! Gary and Warren are two of the nicest people we have ever met. Both were friendly, professional, helpful and very knowledgeable. Breakfast included poached egg and salmon plus fresh, homegrown strawberries! Delicious! We will definitely make it back to Beaconsfield Inn!
