That's the toughest question you'll have to ponder, because everything else is taken care of. Friendly, attentive staff and comfortable well furnished rooms make a stay here nearly perfect. The hotel is in a quiet residential neighborhood, yet an easy walk to downtown and the harbor.
If it;s chilly, book a fireplace room, with a real wood burning fireplace. Don't miss hors d'ourves in the library before dinner.

A small boutique hotel with everything you could want--lovely staff, beautiful setting, accommodating hosts, comfy room...Really one of the best boutique hotels I've experienced. The breakfast is delicious and freshly prepared, the amuse-bouches in the afternoon just as good. Don't be put off because it's not in the middle of the Inner Harbour. That merely gives you the opportunity to see more of the city. Just go.

My sister and I took the Clipper up to Victoria on 12/15. Due to gales in the strait we did not arrive until 10:00P. We had called ahead to let the front desk know of our new ETA. After an exhausting day of travel we were greated by Meagan, who had set aside a plate of appitizers for us in case we hadn't had dinner - we had not.

The room was delightful - clean, nicely decorated, the jacuzzi worked well.

The next morning upon checking out, the morning staff person gave us an update on the Clippers departure which saved us time on doing an internet search.

The thoughtfulness of the staff and the attention to the smallest details was uplifting.

A truly special hotel.

My husband and I returned again this year to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary.
We stayed 3 nights in the Foxglove room and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
With warm, friendly service, charming, impeccably clean, comfortable guest rooms and
public areas, delicious food and a great location, we couldn't ask for more.
Having a massage at the on-site spa was a relaxing treat and a great way to unwind.

Thank you Abigals for helping to make our stay in beautiful Victoria extra-special!

See you next year!

Room Tip: We took a look at several rooms and they were all beautiful. The rooms in the front of the hotel facing the street have a better view, but you can hear street traffic. The rooms on the first floor are better for those who don't want to go up and down stairs and are closer to the spa.

We just spent 3 nights at Abigails, celebrating our 50th anniversary. The minute we entered the Hotal we knew we had made a wonderful choice. A fire was crackling in the lobby, the staff was efficient and very welcoming. Our room was everything we could have imagined, wonderful bed, great linens, the fireplace was the final charming element. There were so many perfect touches. The breakfast was exceptional and we enjoyed the appetizers so much every evening. The staff was so helpful, making reservations, giving directions to various sights. We cannot express what a wonderful experience it was. We will be singing Abigails praises to all our family and friends, we are anticipating our next stay at Abigail's.

Room Tip: We loved 1E, view of garden.
