The beauty of the night lights. On previous trips we enjoyed touring inside the building and also the grounds at the back -- beautiful large pillars.

Very nice architecture and grounds...I love seeing everyone hang out and eat, play and enjoy the grounds...young and old.

“Very interesting, and free...refreshing!”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

The free tours are a really fantastic idea. We were short on time so we kind of hopped from tour to tour to hear as much as we could. The sained glass in the building is really worth seeing.

“Awe inspiring”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

The Parliament Buildings are always awe inspiring for me. Their architectural design is fascinating. The interior is even more spectacular!, It really is worth it to go inside and look around. You can take a self guided tour where they lend you an information booklet, or you can take part in a guided tour. Both are free. There are a lot of stairs when you enter from the front, so you'll need to go around the side if you are in a wheelchair or have strollers. You can even watch the Parliament ministers in action if they are sitting.

“Visit at your leisure”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

Here's what I really love about visiting this building ... unlike just about every other public building worldwide, you can visit here just by dropping in and wandering around! Very few spaces are off limits unless the Legislature is sitting. The architecture is a fabulous Rattenbury design, edging on Arts and Crafts, both noble and easy-going. You can pop in and out for a quick 45 minutes or less and feel that you've had an immediate connection with BC history and that of the British Empire.
