The admission was inexpensive and you do not need very long here. It is interesting to watch the video about Emily Carr and see the period as it was back when she was a little girl and into womanhood. This attraction is worth the visit and also the walk from downtown is very inviting if you stop to look at all the old houses that are in the area to give you a sense of what you are about to see at the Carr house. Its just a short stop on your way through James Bay. Books and memorabilia are available in the small gift shop. Cookies and coffee or tea are also included, which was a nice touch. I am now inpsired to read Emily's many books as she has certain flair for writing about what she sees and feels and makes you feel and see it too.
