We were disappointed with Vic's. The menu was minimal to say the least and after finally deciding on the turkey sandwich it came with a complete lack of flavor. Overpriced.

Vic's is the restaurant in the Harbour Towers hotel. It's a good restaurant, though a little odd too. It bills itself as a steakhouse but at the time of our visit only had one steak on its menu - we evidently visited during a Burger Festival, with no less than eight different burgers on tap. No biggie - there were plenty of other options.

Since we stayed at the Harbour Towers, we ate a few breakfasts and dinners at Vic's. In each case, the quality of food was excellent. And, in fairness, the quality of service was excellent too. However, the restaurant did appear to be somewhat understaffed, particularly during the evening dinner rush. We visited in September, and it appeared that the summer help had gone back to school leaving not enough full-time servers behind. Service was great when you got it ..... but we did have to wait what I thought was a long time to be served, and to receive our meals. Two very pleasant and capable ladies appeared to be handling the entire restaurant between them, and it just wasn't enough. we weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't a problem, but we did see other people leave after waiting a long time to be seated.

As said, the food (when it did arrive) was very good and fairly priced. I would eat here again, but only when I know I have time on my side.

I will agree with recent posts that the acknowledgement of a line forming is not immediately acted upon. There was only one waitress/hostess for the restaurant side. (She asked if we had reservations and looked iffy when we did not) so we chose the lounge. Kevin W was excellent in his attitude, friendliness and completion of any special requests we had. Vern had the Zorba the Greek Burger, a mix of lamb and Kobe beef - which he found to be an excellent choice. I had the Kobe Burger and it was moist and tasty, though fully cooked, by law. We both enjoyed a beverage, Blue Buck beer (pint) for Vern and a Mai Tai for me, both delicious also. Try the lounge 1st. Football and Soccer on the TV's so that was a plus also.

The whole thing was bad, made the mistake of eating there twice and both times the service was slow and the food quality was low.

Service was horrible at Vic's. We were seated with out menus for nearly 15 minutes. Followed by which we waited another 30 minutes for our waitress to take our order. . Best part of all this, there was probably may be 4 families in there. It took nearly 45 minutes for our food to be delivered and in the end of all this, food was what I call average. Definitely not worth a $200.00 bill!
