“Went there for brunch, and didn't love it.”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

The food was middling to average, I got an eggs bennedict and it had no flavour, the sauce was terrible. I couldn't finish the half-benny I ordered. The place is dirty looking on the inside and fairly crowded.

“Consistently great fiish and chips - good value for regulars”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

This is a great little diner in Cook Street Village. It has a retro style with lots of photos of Elvis and plenty of arborite. Kitschy in a fun sort of way but with kind servers, a wide range of meals at reasonable prices and home style fare for those who don't cook for themselves. Good value for halibut, fries, coleslaw and also breakfasts but I shouldn't tell people because then it will be harder to get a table for breakfast- not that you need to worry as they serve brekkie all day.

“50's retro bar”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

Located in the Cook St. Village Victoria. Be sure to wander around and have a look at all the pictures and all Rosies 50's finds. Food is plentiful, varied menu has something for everyone. Rosie makes a great curry dish but not often enough!! Staff is outstanding, friendly and attentive. One of those "I don't feel like cooking tonight, lets walk to Rosies". Enjoy and drop a dine in the juke box.

“Unique and wonderful”
Reviewed March 31, 2013 via mobile

We came across Rosie's by chance. Cruising cook street.looking for something away from downtown. We found it with Rosie's . A monstrous array of choices from Chinese, Burgers, sandwiches, schnitzel and steak to pasta. Topped off with retro style pictures and nostalgia. Oops forgot too. All day breakfast. Our waitress was bright and cheerful and did a superb job of making sure all the diners were looked after. Definitely going back next trip.
