We went to the Tea in the Trees and it was an exceptional day. We had a three-hour walk through the beautiful natural park which the guide interpreted. The walk is challenging in places so you need to be physically fit. Although we had a child in our group, she did only the first, easier part of the walk then returned with her mom to the start. Halfway we were given a break with scones and tea, sitting in the wild while overlooking a lake. The tea was made with the dried leaves of plants found in the area. Very nice! Afterward we had appetizers and drinks in the lovely restaurant. The appies were very tasty and nicely presented. The restaurant has a terrific view so it is worth visiting during daylight hours and it has a fireplace for colder months. We were disappointed that we couldn't try their mains, only because we were too early. The chef comes on at 5pm for dinner. We thought the dinner menu sounded yummy and will go back just to try that.

What a little gem in the woods! We visited the restaurant in the evening in January, so it was dark outside and we missed out on the beautiful setting - one more reason to come back. The dining hall upstairs has a flair and the menu was creative with fresh and local ingredients. The service was very attentive, and the food delightful. On top, the owner gave us some apples to try from their orchard - super delicious!

Returning to Glenrosa, for the second time, with my husband (Sunday), we thoroughly enjoyed the new brunch menu. Every bite tasted farm fresh from the eggs to the home made sausage to the jam. My husband loved the roasted potatoes that came with our breakfast! Good value. A pleasant experience.
