“Unusual menu - good for sharing”
Reviewed July 28, 2013 via mobile

We ordered several dishes to share including meat and cheese platter, ceviche, flatbread and bison ribs. Enjoyed all the dishes very much. Matt, the waiter was especially helpful not only with the menu, but also in providing information about Vancouver and surrounding area! Nice atmosphere on the outside patio overlooking "gassy jack."

“Nice Gastown restaurant”
Reviewed July 25, 2013 via mobile

While it is true that the staff seem a bit overwhelmed at times the drinks were good and two of the three meals were excellent - the halibut with shrimp and the bison ribs. The ceviche was, however, underwhelming and not up to par. Lively scene on the terrace with good background music. A good place to dine and watch the people.

“Great Patio”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

Huge patio with ample seating. Lots of umbrellas if you desire a more shady table. The service was prompt and friendly. We had drinks and very tasty crab cakes. The peach compost that accompanied them was stellar-I had my doubts, but it was a perfect flavour match. Fabulous location---great for people watching.

“Nice outdoor seating”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

My wife and I got drinks and small plates here. I would describe this place as tapas style. There was only a few dishes that could be full meals, and they were each fairly expensive. We ordered bone marrow, kangaroo and grilled peaches wrapped in prosciutto. The bone marrow came in two large bones with bread and a spread. We have never had bone marrow, and we enjoyed it. It is basically meat jello you put on bread. The kangaroo was presented grilled and carpaccio style. We have never had kangaroo, and enjoyed it. We ordered the peaches because it was a very hot day. Nothing to complain about there. There was also a good selection of drinks. Overall, this was a nice place to sit out side and drink, but I would recommend somewhere else if you are looking for a proper meal.
