Stayed for 3 nights before the Rocky mountaineer rail trip. The general feeling was that it was a hotel with nice reception/concierge people but the hotel is trying to be different just for the sake of it. We didn't like the odd shape/layout of the room, however the comedy factor of my wife in control (or not) of the central control panel was worth the entrance fee ! To see the curtains opening and closing when she was trying to put lights on or control the room temperature was comedy gold.
The drinks were very expensive, with not a lot of choice for us blue collar types.
Overall a nice hotel lacking in warmth and charmMore
