Neil( sommelier) and Ciaran (chef) do it right. We were very impressed with the food, plating and service. They matched the food with the wines perfectly. We will definitely be back.

Friendly service and nice getting to know Neal, one of the owners. We all enjoyed our dinner and were actually there over 4 hours! The food was presented very nicely..e line caught salmon was really great. We started with the cheese tray and that was fun. The deserts we tried, carrot cake and chocolate, were completely devoured.

I would definitely go back.

$45 three course tasting menu offered many temptations, all of which are also available ala carte. We're not big dessert eaters, so negotiated two starters instead of two desserts. House made olive sourdough loaf was very good. Fried octopus chips with spicy aioli was fabulous (better when piping hot than room temperature). But they may have been a mistake. After the duck liver terraine and beef carpaccio we were full. Duck liver terrain came with sharp watercress salad and poached pear plus four toasted thin slices of brioche. Worthy of plate licking to get every morsel. Beef carpaccio also came with bitter greens and we scrapped the plate for every last crumb. One of the best ever. Entree of true cod was perfectly cooked with light crust, but accompaniments (beans in light tomato sauce with a couple salad shrimp and mussels and "sea foam" were a little less impressive and a little too fishy. Lamb saddle with sausage was out of this world with nice contrast of Swiss chard. Beautiful presentation, but we could barely finish the two after starters. We split the one dessert, pavalova which ended up being a meringue with sour cherries and a pistachio mousse. Tasted good, but couldn't finish it. Definitely worthy of a couple more trips back!

There were 3 of us and we booked Boneta on a Friday night, spur of the moment. They fit us in, but we knew we had to leave by a certain time; which worked out perfect.
We shared all the food we ordered. We ordered a salad, an entree- their fabulous Risotto dish, the best I've ever had and the octopus chips with aioli dip.

The Drinks: My girlfriend ordered and Old Fashioned and said it was the best she's ever tasted.
I loved my drink as well; it was a tequila base but had layers of flavour!

We all loved the service, the food and the drinks.
Although this is a little more pricey than some places it's worth the extra you pay.
Unlike other restaurants that charge more and disappoint.
Boneta really loves what they do and they are there for you!

Last night we celebrated my wife's birthday at Boneta's and what a fabulous choice it was. It was full on a Tuesday evening and with the food and service we experienced it is not difficult to see why this is a thriving business. A wonderful, small facility in a great location. The Menu choices and wine list are limited but there was enough diversity to satisfy our table of four. Servers were attentive without being par of the meal. We noticed other diners were enjoying their meals and the evening. The place had a very positive "vibe". This place is not far from Chambar in location and in experience. Noticed some diners' reviews that were less favorable - they wanted more food and less of a gastronomical experience and I can only say that the city has ample places that can cook a steak and potato.
