You wouldn't come here to eat your favorite pasta; you came here to enjoy the view. And the view: it is spectacular! The food is all right, yet expensive, something which is understandable 500 feet over the ground.
Best time to book a table is about one hour before dusk so you could sit and enjoy both day and night view of the city.
Your time here would be a time you would remember afterwards; though you wouldn't be remembering the food. This place is well worth a visit, perhaps a must if your visit to the city of Vancouver is a once-in-a-lifetime affair.

The title says it all. We were there for sunset so managed to see the city both in the sunshine and in the dark. Spectacular views.

We went to the Revolving Restaurant for tea and desserts on a Monday afternoon. It was very quiet, only us and 3 or 4 other tables, but service was very poor. Our order arrived in dribs and drabs, we had to ask for milk for the tea and for teaspoons; certainly well below the standard of service you would expect from a restaurant which I think would consider itself as fairly top end. Having said that, the slow service meant that we were at our table for a full revolution of the restaurant and the views of Vancouver this gave us made the overall experience more than worthwhile. Also, because we just had a cup of tea each and shared a cheesecake between four of us (it was delicious incidentally) this was a much cheaper way to see the views than paying to go on the lookout deck.

We were after lunch only for tea coffe and hot chocolate. We were sitting by the window. The waiter was the most polite. He was smiling all the time, he took us pictures.
