We were hoping to skip Vancouver lookout and have drinks here to save some money and enjoy the views as this is even higher than Vancouver Lookout. Guess what? We were told if you want to only have drinks, you can't sit by the window even though the restaurant was empty.

To be eligible to sit by the window, you need to order at least 1 entree per person and the entrees start at 33$. Don't recommend this if you want to just enjoy the views.

The staff was laughing in the background when we were deciding whether to stay or not. That's when I decided I don't want to spend my money here.

Like so many of these revolving restaurants I always book with my own proviso that it's the views that I'm going for first and the food second.

All dishes were nicely presented. My Lobster Avocado Tower salad, very tasty and flavoursome - seemed to be fresh and a good sized portion. My sister had the Chicken Tuscana main dish was just a bit dry for her liking and overall not the 'best' dish but still ok, didn't have a strong opinion on it. I had the Fish of Day and again, it was decent, fish was cooked well. Portion a little small for the price. They had ran out of our first choice of desserts so I simply opted for some ice cream-can't really comment much on that. My sister had the Featured Cheesecake which was banoffee flavoured. She thought that was the best part of the meal, but having stolen a little taste, I'm not quite sure the flavours worked for a cheesecake.

It was a Tuesday night and although 2/3 of the restaurant was empty, the remainder was filled with a large, very casual party taking up 3 large tables. This did mean that the place wasn't filled with the best type of ambiance.

Overall, it really is the views that make this place and for that reason I would recommend. We ate just at sunset and the colours of the sky were breathtaking and simply looked stunning over the harbour. The chap who served us was also very friendly and pointed out the districts and landmarks in the vista.

Keep your expectations on the food to average, and simply enjoy the views of this amazing city.

You can't beat this view at dinner. The food wasn't bad it just wasn't anything special. I would still recommend, maybe for a romantic special occasion.

Definitely the kind of place that attracts tourists. As a restaurant it was pretty good and certainly worth eating here rather than paying for the alternative just to get a view.

The views are really good. It takes around an hour to make a full revolution. This gives you plenty time to eat and enjoy the changing scenery. Make finding your table after a comfort break a bit challenging - it's not where you left it!

The service was great. So as a novelty tourist place to visit and eat it is certainly worth doing.

Forget paying the price to see the Vancouver Lookout. Just go up to the restaurant and have a drink for half the price of admission. We didn't eat up here because Wife is a vegetarian and menu had a lot of seafood on it, but view is awesome. If you eat dinner you can sit along the window and the restaurant rotates slowly so that you see the whole city while you eat (1 hour to go all the way around). If you go up for a drink you can sit in the bar area in the middle but can take pictures over by the windows. Would def recommend
