Like so many of these revolving restaurants I always book with my own proviso that it's the views that I'm going for first and the food second.
All dishes were nicely presented. My Lobster Avocado Tower salad, very tasty and flavoursome - seemed to be fresh and a good sized portion. My sister had the Chicken Tuscana main dish was just a bit dry for her liking and overall not the 'best' dish but still ok, didn't have a strong opinion on it. I had the Fish of Day and again, it was decent, fish was cooked well. Portion a little small for the price. They had ran out of our first choice of desserts so I simply opted for some ice cream-can't really comment much on that. My sister had the Featured Cheesecake which was banoffee flavoured. She thought that was the best part of the meal, but having stolen a little taste, I'm not quite sure the flavours worked for a cheesecake.
It was a Tuesday night and although 2/3 of the restaurant was empty, the remainder was filled with a large, very casual party taking up 3 large tables. This did mean that the place wasn't filled with the best type of ambiance.
Overall, it really is the views that make this place and for that reason I would recommend. We ate just at sunset and the colours of the sky were breathtaking and simply looked stunning over the harbour. The chap who served us was also very friendly and pointed out the districts and landmarks in the vista.
Keep your expectations on the food to average, and simply enjoy the views of this amazing city.
