“Modern Chinese share plates”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

We've been meaning to go here for a long time as its a well established restaurant that gets decent reviews. The food was very good, as was the service and the prices not bad ($13-16 per plate and each had enough for four to have a taste). Our favourites were the curried lamb potstickers, sidestripe shrimp and pork siu mai and the seared albacore tune with ginger shallots and daikon in a vinegar reduction. The desserts were amazing (we tried two of the 3). Wine selection was small but still had enough to choose from and there were some exotic sounding cocktails and mocktails with ingredients such as lychee. All in all we had a lovely night and will go back again for sure.

“Uh...”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

Bland, wispy, overpriced. Looked inviting but I've had better out of the frozen case at a grocery store. Had 2 dishes and left, never to return. The best thing was the bottle of Canadian wine, which they did not make.

“Awesome atmosphere!”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

The service at this place was great. We came as a big group, so they gave us the second floor seating. There were couches and tables which made the seating very comfortable. The food was great. We came during dineout, so we got a 3 course meal. Everything tasted fantastic. I would love to try some of the other things on their menu, will have to come back to this place.

“Expected more”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

Went for a pre- movie dinner, and was looking forward to trying this restaurant which had win awards two years earlier but I had never had a chance to try. Overall relative to the price I felt it was"OK". The service (on a Tuesday night) was a little on the beginner side, the dumplings were over cooked. The dessert was good (chocolate pudding). Price to quality ratio was again "ok", but there are better in the east end of downtown Vancouver.
