This restaurant is fast becoming the prime place to go for great seafood right beside the beautiful Kits beach. With an unobstructed view of the entire English Bay, this is a great spot for a sunset dinner or lazy summer lunch spent having great food and people watching. Their menus are constantly updated to match the seasons, and often have set dinners that are well-priced and provide some great eats. Make sure to make reservations if coming during the summer or whenever there is sunshine in rainy Vancouver!

This is a beautiful little building off the beach at Kits, looking over English Bay. We came for brunch and got a great table looking out over the Bay. We had their eggs benedict - which were tasty (eggs were great) but muffins a bit overcooked. Staff were friendly but it felt a little pricey compared to other places in Vancouver. Certainly would consider coming back especially on a sunny day for the view

We went there as a group. Two of us ordered the luncheon soup bowl of chowder for $8.99 (not the cup, which presumably would have been a starter) and were served about 1/4 inch of soup in the bottom of the bowl. There was no sign of fish in the chowder, just one quarter inch of indeterminate liquid. Never had a worse soup served in the most minimal quantity anywhere. The crab tower salad, with a minute quantity of crab, fell apart immediately when served. Service was perfunctory - no bread or crackers on the table, water served with no ice. The whole experience, except for the view, was just plain bad.

Problem was it was STIFLING hot - sat by the window, saw many people moving away from the window. Website says "enjoy our outside deck" or some such and when we inquired they said they had a deck but it wasn't open for business yet. Terrible experience - food ok but really pricey

The service was fast and efficient, with timely delivery of beverages and food. The menu was interesting to our entire party and everyone was able to find something very appealing to order. They have a good wine list for both red wine and white wine lovers.

One of the best parts of this establishment is definitely the view - if you can be there while the sun sets on a clear evening, you'll see what I mean.
