We had a wonderful meal at this Vietnamese restaurant. First of all most of the people eating there were Asian so it was very authentic which I love. There were four of us and we shared three entrees which was more than enough. We had fried rice, a beef dish and the wonderful chicken wings. Would love to go back.

Better than Advertised by local reviewer. Excellent treatment of Pho and some interesting variations On Asian cuisines. A Korean BBQ type beef, excellent (like Bulgogi), also Butter Beef a very rare sliced beef (almost tartare) with cilantro, excellent spices, and Fried chicken wings with lemon and white pepper - incredible!

As good as any Vietnamese anywhere.

This place is super popular. Took me awhile to actually try this place. So many people talk about it but just never went. Finally got a chance to go. So packed in there, I can see why after my awesome experience. The wings are the signature dish, deep fried light batter with super moist juicy inside which comes with a lemon dip. Sooooo good!! I saw a table of guys beside us and each one had their own large portion lol it's that good. I also tried their butter beef which was amazing as well. It's like beef sashimi with an awesome unique sauce and cilantro. Loved that! Another dish we had was the luc lack beef. Soo tender and the sauce was amazing and the fried egg with it on top of the rice just makes it perfect. Great tasting and worth the wait. If u go with 6 or more, make a reso early and get a big table. If not just have to line up or even settle on sharing a table with another couple if just for 2. Will return ASAP!

This place looks like quite a dive from the outside, but based on the reviews from Tripadvisor, we thought we'd give it a try. When we arrived a little early for lunch the restaurant wasn't busy at all, but by noon it was packed and had a line up outside. The staff were still fairly attentive given the demand and the food was great. The huge portions meant that we left a lot of food on our plates, but not because it wasn't good, just because we ordered way too much.
Overall, very nice authentic Vietnamese/Cambodian food.

Walking in Chinatown we went to the Phnom Pehn after a recommendation from a local Chinese woman and also a police officer; the restaurant is Vietnamese and looks nothing from the outside other than it is very busy and frequented by largely Orientals (usually the sign of traditional food reasonably priced) We had to wait, you give the hostess your party numbers and she puts you on the list and yes you may be overtaken by those who have booked, regulars and others who fit the available table layout (if you're a couple you'll usually wait until a place for 2 is available) but the wait is well worth it. Ask for help with the extensive menu or you're likely to end up with too much food; and be adventurous, the food is delightful, if you like jumbo sized prawns and fish you're in for a real treat. People queue outside the door for an hour or so to eat so that speaks volumes. Dining is a great experience to be recommended. If you are confident type and with company, after dark take the Skytrain to Chinatown and walk the distance (about 1/2 mile) it's worthwhile. Otherwise take a taxi.
