I have been to Joe Fortes twice and both times it was delightful. Its not cheap, and its not quiet its a bustling steak and seafood house.. beautiful decor.. and piano plays through most of dinner, and the staff are so professional.. swear some of the waiters have likely been there for decades! But what I can't stop thinking about was the food.. its so good. I dream about the wedge salad with blue cheese dressing and crumbled bacon.. the oysters, the lamb shanks.. I also shared an excellant creme brulee.
