We ended up at this restaurant because our first choice was closed and our second choice had a long wait. We enjoyed dinners of pasta and pizza. The pastas came steaming hot. The pizza had fresh ingredients and a thin crust which I wish had been a little crisper. There was a good selection of beer and wine the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

I sat up at the bar. The bartender was very entertaing and great. We ordered the Duck rigatoni and New orleans pasta. It was great! Good wine selection to compliment the food. It was a great place to have dinner and head to tinseltown for a movie. Will definitely go back.

If you are not from Vancouver and you're looking for a nice place that won't bankrupt you, this is it!

I've never had the pizza; just the appetizers, pasta and my God, the desserts! Sauces are delicious, and the pasta may be freshly made (not sure - but it doesn't matter). You are encouraged to be creative in custom ordering your own pasta dish. A simple choice like spaghetti and meatballs never tasted better. Another reviewer mentioned the flatbread. It is delicious, but be aware that if you ask for more, there's a charge. (Hey, it's Vancouver.)
If you're a fan of Crème Brûlée, DON'T miss the one at Incendio.

No review of this place would be complete without mentioning the wonderful staff. We were out touring and arrived (hot and tired) 20 minutes before the 5:00pm dinner opening. The waitstaff allowed us to come in, sit down, and served us both a huge glass of ice water. They left us alone (and we left them alone) for twenty minutes and then they checked in with us a little after 5:00 to take our orders. What a great place!

Do be aware that this restaurant is in an interesting part of the city (Gastown). If you opt for sidewalk seating, be prepared to "interact" with passers-by of varying degrees of sobriety. If you prefer not to absorb the local flavor, ask to be seated inside. Either way, it will be fine.

The service was excellent from being greeted. The salad and pizza were both very good. Price very reasonable. I will go back.

Went on Sunday, Feb. 21st, 2010. The service was terrible. The waiter forgot about us and everyone around us was getting fed and the waiter never returned. We had to ask the man clearing tables to get our waiter and that took 20 minutes. Our food "supposedly" was given to another table. Spaghetti and meat sauce, - the sauce was good but almost no noodles. Ordered coffee and never asked about refills. When they were refilling our water glass, my husband's beer glass was hit and cracked. Took 10 minutes to get a replacement. We are Vancouverites and very disappointed with the service. It was a meal from hell. No concessions were made for the experience we had.
