“Excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2013

Could not fault it , food excellent , cheap, service excellent , one of the highlights of the holiday

Do nt be afraid to pie it high as once it is cooked it will shrink

The making up of the sauces is complicated a limitless but once you get the hang of it brilliant

Would recommend it to anybody

“Very Good Value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2013

We had lunch here and the food was really tasty. You can elect to buy either a single bowl ($7.95) or all you can eat ($9.95). We decided after the first bowl we were full. You select from a variety of thinly cut meats, several types of noodles, various vegetables, and create your own sauce, place that all in a bowl and watch as it is cooked over a large hot grill. The result is a wonderful stir fry that is absolutely delicious.

“Cheap, busy, but good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2013

As we were staying on Robson, we had the choice of all the Denman Restaurants, but chose this not just because of the low price, but also because it was busy.
Quickly seated by the efficient staff, we were made to feel welcome and were well looked after by the staff, even though they were busy with a high turnover of tables. This is not a restaurant to sit and have a long meal, rather it is more akin to a refuelling stop, even though we went for Dinner. The selection of meats, vegetables, rice/noodles and sauces was on the safe side (no kangaroo or boar as in our local Mongolian BBQ in Edinburgh) but plenty of it and regularly refreshed. The food was well cooked on the BBQ and the guides for mixing your sauces clear and easy to follow.
Overall excellent value for money, but not a place to linger, with people queueing for a seat.

“Very good for what it is”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 16, 2012

This is one of my favorite lunch spots. If your starving this place will leave you stuffed. For about 10$ you get to pick your veggies, your meats, and your sauces and it's grilled right in front of you. Probably not a good place for someone with food allergies as the grill isn't scrubbed clean after each meal (obviously that would be really time consuming) but it is watered down and the majority scraped off. It's really fun to watch the chef cook your food. You also get a bowl of rice and soup. Overall a really awesome lunch spot if you're starving.

Kind of a dark atmosphere but that's forgivable for the good food.

“First time - not the last.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2012

The concept is brilliant. So is the food quality. It was one of the best meals I have ever had and the flavor was awesome - thanks in large part to the ingredients that I selected (both in terms of quantity and type). Will be back.
