“great location by the water in a boutique hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

We really enjoy going here especially on a sunny day. The views are fantastic and the seating to take advantage of them are exceptionally good. The food is prepared in an open kitchen and is generally excellent. The menu encompasses a fairly wide variety of meat, fish and pasta at average prices. The wine list is somewhat limited and the markups about 30 dollars which is a bit steep for an 18 dollar bottle. Go here fro a relaxing evening in a sophisticated setting.

“Good Food and Location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2013

Dockside is a great location on False Creek, for lunch or dinner. The outside patio is nice for the good weather we are enjoying now, but, inside is still nice as they have floor to ceiling windows with views of False Creek. I took an inside table for faster seating, as everyone was wanting to be outside on Sunday. It is much busier on Sunday Brunch days.

The patio is extended to be just outside the inside tables. I am not fond of those tables as the public is within feet of the tables, walking by. A number of walkers are smoking and that just simply means you are plagued with smokers second hand smoke while you are eating.

“Meal wasn't what I expected but nice place to dine.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

Very nice decor, makes u feel nice when u dress up. The service was slow but still good.

My meal was the Salmon Penne. It said cream and Chardonnay for the sauce but it was a tomato based sauce which I never eat. So because of that I did not enjoy the meal.

BUT the Apple Pie was to die for. Deep fried, flakey and dressed with cinnamon sugar and ice cream, it tasted like a decadent mini donut hahha mmmmm

“go for the view”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2013

the food is just ok - any seafood i had was overcooked - portions are a good size

service at dinner has always been good, breakfast a bit less so

the restaurant is very accommodating - they split the duck dish for a very reasonable $2 and took the desert off the bill when i said it really wasn't that good

i have been here several times and while the food is just ok, the view over false creek is lovely - always ask for a window seat over looking the water

if you are there when the weather is warm, they have a great patio

“What an outstanding breakfast with a view of False Creek and downtown Vancouver.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2013

This morning, my wife and I had a wonderful breakfast overlooking False Creek. My wife ordered the French toast and she said it is the best she has ever had. I appreciated the many options that were available on the menu and ended up ordering the omelet. It was great. The person who seated us and our server seemed to enjoy their jobs. The service throughout the meal was perfect. Our server was there when needed, but never intrusive. We enjoyed watching the boats cruising the harbour and we look forward to returning for another meal.
