We were on Granville Island to see an Improv show so decided to head to Bridges for dinner since we would get a discount.

I had the fish tacos - restaurants never say that they don't serve any sides with this dish... oh well. I found the tortillas flat and cardboard in taste. The contents were fine - nice bit of spice.

My friend had the burger and it was delicious. Lots of fries and a full meal!

Overall I'd recommend but it's one of many great places to eat on the Island depending on your budget and timeline.

This is a great place to go in the summer for casual, outdoor patio get together. Love the natchos and cocktails as the sun goes down. Great place to meet the girls after work or add to the end of an afternoon of shopping on Granville Island.

Lots of outdoor tables from which to enjoy the spectacular False Creek Harbour view. Food is good. Service was good. If the day is nice, buy a day-pass for one of the False Creek ferry services from Granville Island and get on and off at all of the ports of call around the harbour.

We went in the evening and it looked pretty outside at night with all the lights at the dock on Granville Island.

We ordered the Olive & Feta Pizza; the flavour was OK but not great and not bad either. $17.CAD

The Halibut and Crab Cake Burger was good and the side salad Ceasar had way too much dressing!$17.CAD

We would not go back again for the food because I think you are also paying for the dockside view.

It's completely understandable why Bridges is so busy on nice days. It is a great patio and great views on Granville Island. If you don't have high expectations and just want to eat in a great setting, then I would suggest it.

It is expensive for what you get, but it's a great location, and attracts a lot of tourists, so that is to be expected. The food was fine, the service was good and you can't beat a patio on the water in Vancouver in the summer.

The last time we were there we had Nachos and Flatbread, which were good, but a little expensive ($18 and $17) but like I said, you pay for the view. They also had a beer special the day we were there, so that made up for the higher price in apps.

We've been here a couple of times, and I would go back on a nice day if I was on Granville Island. It's not a unique or memorable dining experience, but has good food, good service, and a fantastic patio. Bridges is a good place to go if you get a sunny day on Granville.
