Had fishermans basket and it was yummy. Husband had big homemade hamburger..
Presentation was great too.
Sat outside on a beautiful August day and watched the seaplanes coming in and out..
Reasonably priced as well. Convenient as we stayed here before and after cruise.

We went to Café Pacifica at the Pan Pacific Hotel, having been recommended to listen to the Italian Opera Duo on a Saturday night (I think this duo are only there on alternate Saturdays). In one word.. they were fantastic. They entertained us from 7pm until 9.30pm, with only short interludes for the pianist (also good), and their repertoire was varied and well-performed. They seemed to have a real feel for the music and convey the emotions of the opera well. They sang as the sun set, and so the harbour view was spectacular. A particularly special touch was when they sang 'Happy Birthday' to some lucky patrons.

There was a buffet dinner at the Café which caters for all tastes and ages... we were able to find food for all the family from the toddler to the grandparents. Good value and good service.

We would definitely go again.. particularly to hear this duo performing. Well done!

Stayed for a few days at the Pan Pacific in Vancouver in late July. Had a great time. We had opportunity to dine for breakfast in Café Pacifica for the buffet. Let me tell you it is a decent meal. All the breakfast items are available. You can also order off the menu if you choose. The buffet is $29/person but in my opinion its well worth it. Staff are exceptional. Service very good. If you want a nice breakfast with good views then Café Pacifica is a good choice.

We had breakfast here, four times (we were here for a conference). Not good for breakfast. My tip is you can order eggs made to order (though they won't tell you this). The bacon looks awful. They serve my favourite dish, eggs benedict, but it is not good. No spinach, and the bread muffins don't appear to be cooked properly.

We were looking for a light meal and decided to try Cafe Pacifica. We had some misgivings as the place was almost empty, and when we sat down I noted that the tablecloth was dirty (not from previous diners, but large black smudges right on top near my place setting, which the staff should have noticed when setting the table) which didn't bode well. However, it turned out to be an excellent choice.

The room is walled with tall glass windows looking out on the harbor, very airy and light-filled on a sunny summer evening. The salads were nicely composed, and the entrees beautifully presented and very tasty - the Cornish hen was good, the lamb tenderloin with rosemary gnocchi was outstanding (I would gladly order a dish of those gnocchi as an entree). Portions were not large, which suited us as we weren't looking for a heavy meal, and prices were reasonable in relation. Service was adequate.
